Abstract. Kumar A, Tapwal A. 2022. Diversity of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and root colonization in Polygonatum verticillatum. Nusantara Bioscience 14: 53-63. (AMF) associated with verticillatum (L.) All. was investigated two sites Himachal Himalaya, India. A total 15 AMF species were isolated identified from the rhizosphere soil P. The spore density 1.48 ± 1.91 3.99 3.78 per 20 gram at site-I site-II, respectively. Mycorrhizal roots recorded 46.12 52.23 percent structures like darkly stained endophytic hyphae, coiled intracellular Y-shaped hyphae ‘H’ connection (Arum type) recorded.
